Monthly Adventure Ready Challenge

Public·23 members

📣 Changing things up for our Adventure Ready Challenge for July!

It's been almost a year of doing these challenges, and they are such a creative way of getting outside to explore the world around you!

This month, I'm switching things up a bit, moving from hiking to running (I just LOVE trail running!)

If you complete a square, share it to your Instagram stories and tag me! I'll enter you into a draw to win a monthly prize (determined at the end of the month).

oooh - can do some of these on my mountain bike too!

Happy Canada Day!

Ever planned a hike that looked short on paper, but ended up taking way longer than expected?

Or maybe you're stuck choosing between two trails and wondering which one will actually be a better fit?

In honour of World Sauntering Day (yep, that’s a thing!), we’re taking things off the clock and onto the trail, WILDR-style.

Your challenge: Go for a walk, but make it intentional. No pace goals. No headphones. Just you, your breath, and the world around you.

We train for adventure here, but adventure doesn’t always look like big hikes or heavy lifts. Sometimes it looks like slowing down and noticing your feet on the earth, the smell of the trees and grass, the way your balance shifts on uneven terrain.

Read this 2 days ago and I wished I could go but… pouring rain camping with friends, nothing to see or share.

But went out today to celebrate our first day of summer, and there we were…!!!

June Challenge: Elevate Your Game

Big shoutout to @Meredith Caspell for May! I loved seeing the photo from the top of White Buddha as part of our challenge this month!

June is the Great Outdoors Month, so what better time to get outside, rack up some elevation, and build confidence on the trail?

Your challenge this month: Accumulate 5,000 ft of elevation gain by hiking, trail running, climbing, or biking. You can break it up however you like, whether it’s a couple of big hikes, bike rides, or small climbs during the week, it all counts!
